Dear maintainer,

I noticed a ton of packages use something like this
    dversionmangle=s/\+(debian|dfsg|ds|deb)(\.\d+)?$//
which, IIRC; is suggested by some wiki page.

I'd propose some =auto thing that applies that regex.

Actually, I'd propose a regex that allows package's versions to not have
a dot between 'dfsg' and the number, i.e.:

    dversionmangle=s/\+(debian|dfsg|ds|deb)(\.)?(\d+)?$//

Thanks for considering.
