I unfortunately don't have much time to read the source right now. I just thought I'd report the issue here so that it doesn't get forgotten. Anyway, the right solution is probably to figure out why w3 is reusing the tcp connection even after it has decided to send "Connection: close" (it seems to do that for proxies or if it has been forced to do that with a configuration option). best regards, Timo Lindfors
