exists in both packages. That means if you try to install both packages
at the same time dpkg would refuse. Your system would be left in an
inconsistent state and that is a serious bug in Debian.

The xul-* packages will be useless as soon as the new Firefox ESR
version enters stable. It is absolutely correct how it is implemented at
the moment. We simply do not support a use case where you can have a
version of Firefox installed that supports xul extensions and another
Firefox version that supports webext extensions at the same time.

I may backport the ublock-origin webextension to stable but xul- and web
extensions will never be co-installable in Debian.
