I'm not sure if minetest is to blame here. This could also be an underlying issue in the Irrlicht engine which minetest depends on. Perhaps you can create a new issue at https://github.com/minetest/minetest. I'm quite sure they are more likely to help you. This doesn't sound like a Debian issue for me at the moment and should be better raised upstream. Regards, Markus
