But 1.4.7-2 is in testing, so there is not necessarily a need for having
a stricted dependency, as it would only complicate backporting.

Upgrades from stable require full upgrade which also would bring in a
new libxapian30, so I don't really see the need to add this.

Did you have a mixed system of partially updated one?
