Hey, you can use torbrowser-launcher as sensible-browser, if you start torbrowser every time with --allow-remote. See [15185] that is the upstream bug.
so first console:
~/.local/share/torbrowser/tbb/x86_64/tor-browser_{LANG}/Browser/start-tor-
browser --allow-remote https://check.torproject.org/
second console open a new tab:
~/.local/share/torbrowser/tbb/x86_64/tor-browser_{LANG}/Browser/start-tor-
browser --allow-remote https://check.torproject.org/
even --new-window, --new-tab and --detach works like you expected them.
