Package: jetty Version: 5.1.5rc1-6 Severity: wishlist Hi,
It would be nice to be able not to start Jetty. I installed the package to get Jetty's jars (org.mortbay.jetty.jar, jetty.jar), and I'm not interested in the default Debian daemon. This is to embed jetty in another application. A configuration option in /etc/default/jetty, potentially handled via debconf, would be nice. However, it might be more sensible to create some libjetty*-java packages, reflecting one of the uses of Jetty: embedding a server in other applications. I suppose the HTTP part and the WebApp part should be split in different packages too.
