My system does not have kernel 4.17 installed, so you can imagine my surprise when my first attempt to install 'aufs-tools' included: linux-headers-4.17.0-2-amd64 linux-headers-4.17.0-2-common linux-headers-amd64 linux-kbuild-4.17 Performing the install with option '--no-install-recommends' corrected that.
