Note that for Debian, the corresponding package is libtxc-dxtn-s2tc, and this only needs to be done for Stretch since Mesa 17.3 and later includes S3TC support directly. (For Ubuntu, that means Bionic and later, and Xenial with updates, don’t need libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0.) Regards, Stephen
