Changing the PYTHONPATH in debian/rules to PYTHONPATH="$(CURDIR)/.pybuild/pythonX.Y_$(PYVERSION)/build/"
fixes this part of the build for me. (It then fails for testJournalFilesArg when running as a user with -rfakeroot, but that is a different bug.)
