If I restart logind via "systemctl restart systemd-logind", my X session is terminated on sid. I'm curious why that is not the case for you. Are you using Wayland (not sure if cinnamon already uses it)? -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
