Sorry this took so long, but you're probably right. I connected them,
killed blueman-applet, and used bluetoothctl to disconnect. It
reconnected, so it's probably the headphones.

Perhaps Windows 10 (which doesnt exhibit the problem) doesn't care,
which wouldn't sur[prise me.

You can go ahead and close this bug if you like.
