Package: git-debrebase Version: 6.2 If you do a wrong thing, it is possible to screw up your gdr branch. (See #905004 for an example.)
The error message, while factually correct, is not really very user-friendly. It should probably suggest possible causes and recovery strategies, and/or refer to documentation, and/or do some analysis to guess at the cause (maybe by looking in the reflog).
