php-cli-prompt was packaged as a composer dependency, but the last version (1.7, already in experimental, soon in unstable) doesn’t depend on php-cli-prompt anymore. There is a priori no point in keeping this library in Debian (please do provide more information to this bug report if you disagree). I intend to ask for this package to be removed from the archive once a new composer 1.7 reaches testing (feel free to take care of that if I forget or don’t do it quickly enough). I may however update this bug report to make sure the php-cli-prompt package doesn’t get automatically removed from testing before composer 1.7 gets in (I’m submitting this report now to avoid forgetting about it, and risking releasing Buster with a useless PHP library).
