It just occurred to me that origtargz(1) also puts the .orig.tar into
'..'.

It increasingly seems like dgit's build_source() subroutine should check
for the .orig.tar in the build-products-dir, and if it is missing and
the build products dir is not '..', it should try copying it from '..'.
