Hi ieee-data maintainer(s), I notice that the current stable and latest versions of this package download content from standards.ieee.org using plain http. This of course has a risk of interception and manipulation of the downloaded content for malicious purposes. Given that the IEEE website now supports https traffic I recommend this package is updated to use it, and if possible a security fix is made available for stable release.
