Btw, I first though to patch the 2.4->2.6 diff for autobuild 2.4 modules, but it is easier, if you would provide 'unpacked' patches for both the latest 2.4 and 2.6 kernel. > 1. As far as I saw, only the mount routine gets an updated magic number for squashfs-images, is that the reason?
