I still fail to understand the rationale: DEP-5 (5.2.1) allows to combine the copyrights for the same license in one paragraphs: | Whether to combine paragraphs with the same grant of license is left | to the discretion of the author of the debian/copyright file. What would be the advantage to split the paragraph? It just makes the file longer. Being able to automatically derive exactly the copyright holder of debian/* (or any other file) is obviously not the scope of d/copyright. Best regards Ole
