I noticed that the eth0 and eth1 where not configured in gnome network configuration, now I configured it and network cards are well configured. (Note that gdm is started at boot).
So maybe the problem was this, but it is a greater problem: "what is the right place to configure a network card? d-i etherconf or gnome?" and shouldn't they be all equivalent? PAolo
