Package: xen-utils-common Version: 4.8.3+xsa267+shim4.10.1+xsa267-1+deb9u9 Severity: normal
The xendomains script does not work properly on Xen dom0 shutdown and reboot. When restarting or shutting down with XENDOMAINS_RESTORE=false and XENDOMAINS_SAVE="" the DomUs are destroyed and not shut down properly. Although the xendomains script works correctly if you stop it manually with "systemctl stop xendomains.service". When configuring with saving/hibernating the domUs, the behaviour is more weird. Every time I change something in an xl.cfg script, I have to stop and start the xendomains.service at least once manually before it works correctly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xen-utils-common depends on: ii lsb-base 9.20161125 ii python 2.7.13-2 ii ucf 3.0036 ii udev 232-25+deb9u3 ii xenstore-utils 4.8.3+xsa267+shim4.10.1+xsa267-1+deb9u9 xen-utils-common recommends no packages. xen-utils-common suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/xendomains changed: XENDOMAINS_SAVE=/var/lib/xen/save XENDOMAINS_RESTORE=true XENDOMAINS_AUTO=/etc/xen/auto XENDOMAINS_STOP_MAXWAIT=300 /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp changed: (vif-script vif-bridge) (dom0-min-mem 2048) (enable-dom0-ballooning no) (total_available_memory 0) (dom0-cpus 8) (vncpasswd '') /etc/xen/xl.conf changed: autoballoon=0 -- no debconf information
