Huh? If you want linux-wlan-ng kernel modules for use with the official Debian kernels, you have to build them using linux-wlan-ng-source. Therefore, if this problem does not occur with the official Debian kernels, linux-wlan-ng-source is not "unusable or mostly so"; it's usable by anyone running the standard Debian kernels, and by anyone running non-standard kernels if specific kernel options are turned on. So unless I've misunderstood something, this bug is not "grave". > Problem is that nothing can be said to prevend generation of PCMIA > related modules... That's a valid request; it doesn't justify a grave-severity bug, though. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
