Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I found this was fixed in slang2 in 2.3.0-4.
The fix is: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/slang2/blob/debian/master/debian/patches/init-crash.patch All but oldstable should be good, and there it might not yet been broken (not checked). I think you can close the bug. -- Christian Ehrhardt Software Engineer, Ubuntu Server Canonical Ltd
