I guess git-debrebase(5) would be fine, but IMO it would be weird to
have TIPS AND NOTES after INTRODUCTION.

How about adding a TIPS AND NOTES appendix to git-debrebase(5)?  Since
git-debrebase(5) describes a data model, to my mind tips for using that
data model belong in an appendix.
