* Package name : sodalite Version : 0.13.6 Upstream Author : Heiko Nickerl <d...@heiko-nickerl.com> * URL : https://github.com/hnicke/sodalite * License : GPL Programming Lang: Python Description : Keyboard-driven terminal file navigator and launcher Sodalite is a keyboard-driven terminal file navigator and launcher. It's designed to be the missing glue for those who use the shell as their daily driver and seek more speed and ease. In a nutshell, sodalite assigns a key to each entry. Pressing a key navigates to the corresponding entry. The assignments are permanent but can be changed to your liking. Next to fast navigation, sodalite brings file preview with syntax highlighting and a pluggable hook system. I believe that sodalite is a handy tool for powerusers like devs and sysadmins. While there are similar curses-based file navigators like 'vifm' or 'ranger', none of them has a comparable UX: The central ability to assign a single key to each entry is unique AFAIK. I'm the developer of sodalite and want to make sodalite easily accessible to as much people as possbile. Therefore, I'm planning on maintaing the package myself. The current packaging logic is kept here: https://github.com/hnicke/sodalite-deb
