Package: python3-distutils Version: 3.6.6~rc1-2 Severity: important python3-distutils contains precompiled .pyc bytecode files for Python 3.6 and 3.7, but also recompiles the bytecode corresponding to any installed versions of Python 3 in its postinst, overwriting the packaged files (as you can see from the debsums errors at the end of this bug report, I have python3.6 installed, but not python3.7).
This results in a piuparts regression for python3-distutils itself: https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/fail/python3-distutils_3.6.6~rc1-2.log and also piuparts failures for anything that directly or indirectly depends on it, such as libflatpak-dev: https://piuparts.debian.org/stable2sid/fail/libflatpak-dev_0.11.8.3-1.log Please consider testing infrastructure packages like this with piuparts before upload.
