Package: etherconf
Version: 1.17-0.1
Severity: normal

This is similar to #213383

I get the following resolv.conf file

domain
nameserver Unsupported
nameserver command
nameserver "setting"
nameserver (full
nameserver line
nameserver was
nameserver "Setting
nameserver hostname
nameserver to
nameserver 'wood'...done.")
nameserver received
nameserver from
nameserver confmodule.

With this configuration

hostname: wood
domain name: <nothing>
conf eth0?: yes
removable?: no
DHCP?: no
IP: 172.18.3.51
GW:172.18.3.254
netmask:255.255.255.0
broadcast:172.18.3.255
conf eth1?:no
IP of DNS:172.18.4.1
eth0 : no dhcp not removable

Actually this is what i did the second time, the first time i configured also
eth1 and after that nothing worked.

Now i cannot reproduce the problem, that is if I run again
dpkg-reconfigure etherconf
it works ok, producing good resolv.conf (note that I modified by gand
resolv.conf, may this prevent etherconf from modifying it?)

... I did my best to explain, even if I know that it can be not enough

Now every time i restart Debian the eth0 is not configured, and I have
to do ifconfig and route add default gw
