Thanks for clarifying. Just for my understanding, did you ever
considered to add these vectors (as a second tar ball in the source 3
format) to the source package of python-cryptography?

I triggered a combined test. Once that passes, autopkgtest should not
delay the packages anymore. I'll keep an eye on it. Unfortunately for
python-cryptography, the migration will not be earlier than the default
5 days, because it has to wait for -vectors, which doesn't get a reduced
age because it doesn't contain an autopkgtest. (Please don't abuse the
system and add a dummy test).
