Hi, FFmpeg is already recommended by multimedia-video.
Removing libav-tools from the blends task would mean that people running stable would not be able to find the package on the blends website: https://blends.debian.org/multimedia/tasks/ We normally only remove packages from the blends tasks once the package is completely removed from the archive. I have demoted libav-tools to "Suggests" so that it appears lower down the website. Once the package is no longer in stable, we can remove it from the blends task. If this causes problems in anyway, please let me know. Regards, Ross
