Package: zabbix-agent
Version: 1:3.0.17+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

We have currently the following situation:
 * hostA behind a firewall
 * proxy behind a firewall

 * server

hostA is configured to use a proxy, this proxy gets the configuration
from the server and hostA connects to the proxy. This is all working
fine.

We have a seperate server which handles the backups for hostA and when a
backup succeeds or fails we send a message to our monitoring server. We
do that with the command:
zabbix_sender -z server -s hostA -k backup.result[job] -o T

That command fails with:
info from server: "processed: 0; failed: 1; total: 1; seconds spent: 0.000040"
sent: 1; skipped: 0; total: 1

I expect it to succeed and to see the value in zabbix.

It looks like when hostA is configured to use a proxy then 'server' wont
accept any connections for hostA but wants it from the proxy.

Regards, Matthijs
