Hi, on a minimal + fresh Debian/stretch system with just: % sudo apt install bareos and using the provided debconf defaults the installation procedure fails within the debconf setup/installation procedure of the database, caused by: chown: invalid user: postgres Obvious workaround is to install the postgresql package *before* bareos. regards, -mika-
