Hello, depends on the Option "Show only subscribed folders" today I found an additional information:
At my tests the flag was not set and I restarted Thunderbird so the whole Directory Structure from IMAP Server is shown in Thunderbird. Today I switched back to set these option to true. I wonder me that archiving of by using Test 5 second part is not further working. The try of archiving a mail from subfolder like /ordner/otest was now resulting in a error message "...responded: indeterminate mailbox format: ~/Archives." like in Test 6 is shown. The mail won't be moved. After I removed the option "Show only subscribed folders" and restarted Thunderbird the part 2 was successful again. That means please do all the tests in my first post only without these option set. But that these flag will change the usage is unexpected. Maybe I will add more results later. Also I will rerun my tests on a fresh account with a fresh installed thunderbird 52.8.0. Cheers,…
