Package: libprocps-dev Version: 2:3.3.15-1 Severity: normal Hey,
The libprocps-dev package depends on `libprocps7' but contains a broken symlink to `libprocps.so.6' in the /usr/lib search path. Otherwise the compiler picks up `libprocps.a' from the same directory, that fails since it's not built with -fPIC. I believe the original intention was to have a non-broken symlink to `libprocps.so.7'. cheers, sh -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.16.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=C (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libprocps-dev depends on: ii libprocps7 2:3.3.15-1 libprocps-dev recommends no packages. libprocps-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
