The sphinxbase has actually always been buggy on big-endian architectures, and the testsuite actually event has bad effects on buildds, so I have recently made it to just not run and fail, instead of ignoring its result. For that version of sphinxbase to reach testing, I'd however need to have the old binaries removed for big-endian archs. Thanks Samuel
