Package: evolver-doc
Version: 2.26-1
Severity: wishlist

The HTML manual provides some references to the pdf manual (e.g.
file:///usr/share/doc/evolver-doc/install.htm#documentation has a link to <a
href="http://www.susqu.edu/brakke/evolver/downloads/manual226.pdf";>
manual226.pdf</a>)

It would be handy if this reference would point to the local copy of the pdf
manual (at file:///usr/share/doc/evolver-doc/manual226.pdf.gz), to bring the
pdf manual instantly at hand. I gather the pdf manual provides more detail
than the HTML manual so it's a good idea to make it easily accessible.

Probably the best thing would be to provide both links, one to the local
copy and one to the original site at www.susqu.edu.

Of course this is contingent on closing Bug #355081 :)
