Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Please remove package post-faq from the Debian archive.

I personally stopped using post-faq myself some years ago and usage of
usenet news, especially FAQs posted in usenet news seem to be
retrogressive.

I requested for adoption in https://bugs.debian.org/833568 nearly two
years ago but nobody stepped in.

According to popularity contest
https://qa.debian.org/popcon.php?package=post-faq only 3 users
installed it, while nobody seems to really use it (vote count is 0).

The package has no known bugs and isn't much work to maintain, but if
nobody uses it, it doesn't make sense to pollute the archive with it.

According to "dak rm -Rn post-faq" there are no reverse dependencies
that would stop removal.

Greetings
Roland
