Hi Rafael,
There are legitimate cases where /usr/share/doc/$pkg/examples is a
symlink instead of a directory.
That should be fine already. Indeed, I just added such a test for
symlinks and it passes without any code changes:

(It also does not trigger on, for example src:zsh.)
