Because the source package for aspell-en basically gets built directly
out of scowl, I think it makes sense to build aspell-en directly from
the scowl source package (which already generates the
w{british,american,canadian}-* and hunspell-en-* packages.)

Would a patch against scowl which changed this be acceptable in
principle to you as the aspell-en maintainer? [This would eventually
result in scowl taking over the aspell-en binary package, but there
should be no other changes.]

I figured this way I could reduce the effort of maintaining scowl even
further by having more than just me importing new revisions. ;-)
