It seems that the addition of the udeb did not work out as expected. It seems to me that communication suboptimal from both sides. Still, the version in unstable is problematic for bootstrapping as it also lacks M-A:same, which turns out to be the worse problem as it cannot be worked around easily. Can you consider uploading libzstd to unstable without the udeb, then sending a patch that adds the udeb to debian-b...@lists.debian.org for review following the proper process? That approach may not be pleasant, but it would allow us to move on and unblock other people. Thank you for considering Helmut
