Package: ffmpeg Version: 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? I tried to convert dsf file to flac with ffmpeg. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? It looks like there is a noisy part at the end of some flac file. Steps to reproduce: 1/ download from http://www.lindberg.no/hires/test/2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.dsf.zip 2/ extract archive 3/ run ffmpeg command : ffmpeg -i "2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.dsf" -acodec flac -ar 96000 "2L-125_stereo-11289k-1b_04.flac" 4/ play the flac file or open it with audacity (some flac player are playing a noisy 'clac' at the end of file like deadbeef, some don't) I'm not sure the bug is from ffmpeg, but probably because two softwares have seen that noise maybe related : https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/5488 https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/5489 Regards, Serge * What was the outcome of this action? no outcome at the moment * What outcome did you expect instead? a proper flac file -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (700, 'stable-updates'), (700, 'stable'), (80, 'testing'), (58, 'unstable'), (55, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ffmpeg depends on: ii libavcodec57 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libavdevice57 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libavfilter6 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libavformat57 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libavresample3 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libavutil55 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u3 ii libpostproc54 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libsdl2-2.0-0 2.0.5+dfsg1-2 ii libswresample2 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libswscale4 7:3.2.10-1~deb9u1 ii libva1 1.7.3-2 ffmpeg recommends no packages.
