Package: gdebi Version: 0.9.5.7+nmu1 Followup-For: Bug #790322 I have same problem I try to install Unity (Game Engine) and other .deb files using GDebi it asks for the root password and when i enter it returns and says incorrect password everytime. When i try using dpkg -i It works like a charm but not with GDebi.
