For KDiff3 QT, it would not be hard. For the KDE version, there's no upstream KDE 5 version and the upstream author doesn't have time to implement it. There are people trying to create a KDE5 version, though. I'd prefer to package that when/if it works. The alternative would be to deprecate the KDE version and just have kdiff3-qt.
