Package: arduino Version: 2:1.0.5+dfsg2-4.1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, when running arduino i get this error:
java.lang.NullPointerException thrown while loading gnu.io.RXTXCommDriver both on the shell and in the black area of the GUI "serial port" item on menu|"tools" is grayed out. So while I can still type and compile code but I can't upload it to any board. This happens on the very outdate version (1.0.5) present in sid while the newer - but stil outdated - version in experimental doesn't run at all. So right now arduino is not usable in Debian. Is there some workaround|hack to temporary fix that? I hate having to run Windows to get around this kind of issues.
