Hi Kartik, hope you are well -- actually this is already fixed in 1.18 and above. It affects 2Gb+ RAM systems with 32-bit userland; 64-bit userland is ok. I don't know exactly what Debian's policy is but I'd recommend upgrading to the latest 1.x release (current is 1.20). These are considered 'stable' updates. -- Mark
