Yeah, I noticed that and started looking into it few weeks ago, but never finished. It looks like pstoedit conditions which switches to pass to gs based on the version of gs, and before some trigger version it does not pass gs -dDELAYBIND. I was about to check if triggering that also for more recent versions would solve the problem. I think I was about to try and figure out what -dDELAYBIND actually does...
