Package: libpython3-stdlib Version: 3.5.3-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* Problem description Please refer to the debian bug #868143. It was identified that both python2.7 and python3.5 that comes with stretch main are affected. However, only python2.7 package received an update. The python3.5 is still affected. * Current sistuation In a system with stretch-updates, python3 is unable to make SSL connection with some host, which works fine with python2.7 or jessie. * Expectation I hope the python3.5 package can be rebuilt and pushed to stretch-updates as well. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.10.0-32-generic (SMP w/24 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages libpython3-stdlib depends on: ii libpython3.5-stdlib 3.5.3-1 libpython3-stdlib recommends no packages. libpython3-stdlib suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
