Installing Samba on stretch with only loopback interface present results in configuration error post install. Installation errors: dpkg: error processing package samba (--configure) nmbd.service times out with status: "nmbd: No local IPv4 non-loopback interfaces available, waiting for interfaces." workaround is to create dummy interface and configuration then completes.
