Package: distmp3 Version: 0.1.9.ds1-4 Severity: wishlist
I don't see a particular technical reason why distmp3 can't read WAV_FILE from stdin instead of a file. This would be useful e.g. for decoding flac/shn and re-encoding to mp3 using distmp3, so an intermediary file is not necessary. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE= (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages distmp3 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.70 Debian configuration management sy ii perl [perl5] 5.8.7-10 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii vorbis-tools 1.1.1-3 several Ogg Vorbis tools distmp3 recommends no packages. -- debconf information: distmp3/nice-level: 15 distmp3/bad-nice-level: * distmp3/start-on-boot: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
