gource fails to cross build from source, because it ships a broken embedded copy of AX_BOOST_SYSTEM. The problem in the macro is described at https://bugs.debian.org/872256. Please remove embedded copies or get them registered, see https://wiki.debian.org/EmbeddedCodeCopies. Most likely, it is sufficient to rm m4/ax_boost_*.m4 before autoreconf. Helmut
