Hi I just want to give a status report at this bug. Werner and me are working on it and it is half implemented :( It will be available during a so called "debian-edu-expert" mode installation. We won't have the barebone profile for the Debian-Edu 2.0 release. After the release it will be one of our tasks to finish the work on this bug report.
