Package: wavesurfer
Version: 1.8.8p4-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

We are currently seeking to remove Tcl/Tk 8.5 from Debian because it's
reached the end-of-life.

Unfortunately, wavesurfer still depends on it, and fixing that isn't
as easy as replacing tk8.5 by tk in debian/control (I've tried and
stumbled onto some bugs with callbacks which didn't manifest themselves
on 8.5).

So my suggestion is to package the new upstream (1.8.8p5)
which seems to work fine in Tcl/Tk 8.6.
